Bio
My career was mainly as a Natural Resource Specialist with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Dept. of Interior, stationed in Western Oregon. I was a prescribed fire burn boss and I.R. Specialist on wildfire deployments. My career spanned many other duties during my 35 year tenure.
Military Experiences
1974 - 1995
Training NCO
Maintain unit training records for the members of our Cadre unit. When at Annual Training I maintained training records for all the trainees in the BCT Units we were assigned to. Our unit was an OSUT Cadre unit with Drill Instructors and TNG NCO, Mess Steward, Supply Sgt and unit clerk as well as CO, Tng Officer and 1st Sgt.
1971 - 1973
CBT ENGR Sqd Ldr
I was assigned to a CBT. Engr squad as a squad leader (E-6), I was in this unit for several years till an E-7 position became available in the co-located USAR unit, then I transferred to the USAR.

Camp Humphreys, S. Korea
62C30- maintenance on Heaters and air conditioners within a NIKE-HERCULES MISSLE BN., and wrecker operator with same unit. We used the wrecker for towing and equipment recovery and also for rocket motor changes and Nuclear warhead changes.
