I served in the infantry from 1976 to 1979, re-enlisted in 1979 for the MOS 67N (Huey mechanic), and spent the next 17 years in aviation. After retiring in Aug of 1996, I worked for Lockheed Martin for 7 years up and down the east coast doing maintenance or ACE inspections on Army helicopters. I went to Iraq in 2003 and spent 10 years there with L-3 and ARINC working on US and MI-17 helicopters.
