I started my Army life as an Air Defense Artillery Officer (SHORAD, thank you), did that for three years and branch tranferred to the Medical Service Corps in hopes of being accepted to the LTHET for the Army-FSU MSW program. I was. Finished the program and now spend my days helping our finest Americans with their mental health struggles, issues, concerns, etc. I love my job.
