Bio
I joined the Army my senior year of high school and spent a total of 4 years on active duty, almost 8 yrs in the reserves, and 12 yrs as an AGR soldier before retiring after 24 yesrs of service. I served as an indirect fire infantryman, recruiter, and psychological operations specialist. I now work in the healthcare industry as a management analyst in Texas.

AIT Platform Senior Instructor
Served as the AIT platform Senior Instructor for B Co., 5th Bn, 1st SWTG (A). Also served as an instructor for the Psychological Operation Qualification Course which Bravo company teaches to both Officer and Enlisted personnel.
Additional duties include Anti-Terrorism Officer, Additional Duty Safety Officer, and Unit Prevention Leader.

Detachment Sergeant
Served as the Detachment Sergeant for the Tactical Product Development Detachment and unit Operations/Training NCO for the 315th PSYOP Company. The senior of 3 full time personnel supporting a company of over 130.
Handled all day to day business for the company in the absence of the commander and 1SG. Also served as the units S-1, S-2, S-3 and S-6. Scheduled required training, assets, and tracked files both digital and paper to meet Army Regulations.

AGR Recruiter
AGR Recruiter for the Garland Recruiting Station, Plano Recruiting Company, Dallas Recruiting Battalion. Conducted prospecting of applicants through digital, face to face, phone, and public event methods. Processed applicant packets, ran police background checks, and located medical records to assist in processing as well as mentoring new soldiers and speaking with family members.
Awarded Gold Recruiter Badge with 3 Sapphires and the Army Recruiter Ring. During tenure, Dallas Battalion achieved "5K the Hard Way" by enlisting over 5200 in a single fiscal year by both volume and category.

PSYOP Specialist, PSYOP Sergeant, Team Chief, Company Training NCO
Joined the unit as an E-4 and left as an E-7. At the time, the 345th was a part of the 16th PSYOP Bn, 2nd PSYOP Group. Served as a PSYOP Specialist, PSYOP Sergeant, Team Chief, Assistant Detachment NCO, and Operations/Training NCO and deployed twice with the unit.
Additional duties included serving as part of the Jumpmaster team.
Awarded Combat Action Badge, parachutist badge and pathfinder badge while assigned to this unit as well as graduating jumpmaster school.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Was a PSYOP Team Chief with the 345th PSYOP Co. (A) located in Baghdad. Originally attached to the 16th Engineer Battalion, 1AD located at Baghdad Island.
Later attached to 2-7 Cav, 1CD for the remainder of my deployment. Spent the last 45 days with 1st CAV in Najaf supporting the Marines 1st MEF, 11th MEU during a period of unrest.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Deployed with the 345th PSYOP Co. (A) attached to 3rd SFG. Served as the PSYOP Liaison to the CJSOTF-A giving daily briefs to the CJSOTF-A Commander. Was also the PSYOP QRF Team Chief supporting operations and areas without an organic PSYOP team present.
