As the Operations Manager I was responsible for an operations center of 15 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO’s) and Officers for an Active Component/Reserve Component (AC/RC) Training Brigade. I managed the development and implementation of Brigade Policy, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Brigade level Operations Orders (OPORD), Fragmentation Orders (FRAGO), and Warning Orders (WARNO) for seven (7) geographically dispersed Battalions and a Headquarters and Headquarters Brigade (HHB) unit. I was the senior program manager for all Force Protection related issues. I served as the brigade’s Master Resilience Trainer and program manager for all resilience training and associated matters. I also served as the senior enlisted advisor to the Brigade Commander for all Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) matters. Coordinator of all administrative, logistical, and training efforts for the brigade. I increased operational efficiency by more than 90% with minimal staffing. I enforced training, logistics support, maintenance, personnel management, and recruiting with a 95% retention rate. I have created and implemented Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection Standard Operating Procedures increasing security readiness from 60% to 90% rating. I led an operations team with numerous projects coordinating multiple resources for different corporate level training events resulting in over 90% increased efficiency, 100% personnel safety, accountability of equipment, and mission accomplishment. I also led, planned, coordinated, and executing pre-mobilization training for deploying Army, Army Reserve, National Guard, and joint units ensuring 100% mission readiness towards unit mission accomplishment. As the battalion training and development manager I analyzed and assessed Military Police professional development and training requirements. Some of my duties and responsibilities was to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for standards of training, resourcing, development, and implementation. Coordinate Military Police professional development courses. I also coordinated military leadership courses for all military leaders. I was the senior program manager for all Force Protection related issues. I served as the Battalion Master Resilience Trainer and program manager for all resilience training and associated matters. I also served as the senior enlisted advisor to the Battalion Commander for all Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) matters. As part of my other duties and responsibilities, I prepared and implemented Emergency Management action plans outlining the operations and procedures responding to a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear incident, accident, and or attack. I consulted with stakeholders and colleagues on matters of systems and integration concerns with a variety of emergency management projects daily. I was able to implement a training and schools program for over 300 personnel maintaining a 98% professional schools pass rating. I have led and mentored an operations center of 10 personnel with $1,000,000 worth of vehicles and associated equipment. I developed and managed the Battalion Resiliency training program resulting in 100% trained each quarter. I collaborated and liaised with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies organizing joint training projects and events. As the Capabilities Developer/Project Manager/Technical Writer I was responsible for the research, development, and submittal of Force Design Updates (FDU) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN), Engineer, and Military Police actions for Maneuver Support Center Combat Development Division (CDD), Maneuver Support Organizational Design Section, which includes but not limited to reviewing the FDU Concept paper, writing the organizational FDU paper, reviewing the Operational Node Network (ONN) for communications systems, conducting a complete analysis for any new upgraded military units, and creating Unit Reference Sheets (URS). I created, analyzed updated technical manual process' for over 750 Army Corps of Engineer equipment encompassing over $22 billion. I have analyzed and identified client needs with multiple military organization restructuring projects reallocating resources for first responder and engineer units saving more than $4 million per unit. I have also headed large-scale projects encompassing the transition of older programs to new platforms and merging disparate systems acquired from the organization. As an instructor I developed and prepared lesson plans, present training to small groups, and give oral presentations in a classroom setting. I instructed Advanced Individual Training (AIT) teaching Initial Entry Trainee (IET) Soldiers on but not limited to the following: Operation of CBRN Decontamination, Defense, Detection and Monitoring Equipment Preparation for CBRN defense Actions/Procedures Wear and use of protective equipment Hazardous Material Certification (at the awareness level) Exposure to toxic agents while wearing CBRN protective equipment Introduction to Biological Warfare Chemical Reconnaissance Radiological Survey CBRN Specialists plan, employ, and coordinate CBRN defense systems in support of joint and combined arms operations including CBRN reconnaissance systems, biological agent detection systems (BIDS), obscurant systems, CBRN decontamination systems, and other CBRN hazard detection and warning systems. In addition, CBRN Specialists coordinate assets and efforts for weapons of mass destruction (WMD) force protection programs, CBRN defense support to civil authorities, CBRN vulnerability analysis, CBRN sensitive site assessment/exploitation, WMD elimination, technical escort operation, CBRN reconnaissance, and CBRN decontamination. I have trained over 700 domestic, and international Soldiers annually in Hazardous Materials and Emergency Response technical education resulting in over a 95% pass rating. I utilized real world war time experiences implementing scenarios creating a realistic training atmosphere and experience. My extensive knowledge and experience ensured students received the best training and instruction possible. I have provided a positive training environment by promoting clear defined goals and responsibilities to students.
