Bio
Went in on an Open Contract in '83 and was placed as an Armor crewmember. Was stationed at Camp Pendleton after "A" school, was there until 1985. I then decided to re-up early and change my MOS. I was able to talk my CO into allowing my change of MOS and reenlistment. I then went to "A" School to be come an aircraft hydraulics mechanic. I picked the AV8B aircraft to work on.

Attached to ship's IMA Hydraulics shop. Was senior Marine and second senior man in composite shop. Had two sailors and six marines. We worked on hydraulic equipment for all aircraft that could land on our LHA. As well as any other needs that arises aboard the ship. Even manufactured hyd lines for ship's equipment. Awarded the Battle "E" Ribbon.
