Manpads Team Chief 16 Sierra
Wackernheim was located close to Finthen Army Airfield and Ingleheim. Arrived there in ‘89 as a Private, was fortunate enough to participate in Reforger at Grafenvoer, deployed to Saudi Arabia in ‘90 at Kobar Towers. We were in the lead company that hit the Republican Guard from the rear after circling Baghdad. Promoted to Specialist after arriving back in Germany. Pcs’d to Ft. Lewis in late ‘92 and ETS’d in ‘93. Some dates may be incorrect, spelling is definitely wrong, but, it’s been 30 + years. So be it.
