Avionics Navigation Systems Technician
I went into Basic Training Oct 1980; went to Keesler AFB for Tech School, finished Jun 1981; went to my first base, George AFB, Jul 1981-Mar 1983 (approximately), worked on F4G and Es - Worked both the flightline and in the CRS prior to my PCS. Next I went to Rhein Main, Mar 1983-May 1985, was assigned to the 7th SOS, worked on MC-130Es. I LOVED my active duty time in the Air Force, LOVED what I did, even with the challenges I faced during those times. I am thankful for those that God Blessed me with in the midst of the challenges and I would do it all over again. I would have loved to stay AD at that time but was getting married as I met the Love of my Life, tried to cross-train so we could be more compatible, but unfortunately, did not work out. A Blessing nonetheless. I am Blessed!
