Vietnam War
I worked on the bench repairing helicopter radios in Avel Central, Phu Loi from October 1970 to February 1971. I then flew door gunner with the 128th AHC off and on until August 1971. I was then placed in charge of company supply and our sector of the perimeter. At the end of March 1972, I was sent to Vung Tau where I spent my last 2 months on the perimeter at night and convoy shotgun in the day.
