Shane received an Honorable Discharge from the US Navy and has since earned his AS and is currently on target to receive his BS in Electrical Engineering.

• Maintained and repaired 120Volt and 440Volt power and lighting distribution circuits.
• Replaced magnetic couplings on 440Volt pump motors.
• Repaired Detroit Switches and floats associated with fuel/sewage tank level meters.
• Re-Wired power distribution switchboards.
• Worked daily with test equipment including, but not limited to, multimeters, oscilloscopes and voltage detectors.
• Read blueprints, schematics and physical wiring diagrams on a daily basis.
• Directly supervised and acted as lead worker of crew of four subordinates on a daily basis.

Western Pacific
Conducted Hull swap between USS Shiloh (CG-67) and USS Chancellorsville (CG-62). Crew member aboard USS Shiloh as the boat was re-home ported from San Diego, CA to US Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan. Upon completion of hull swap we took control of USS Chancellorsville, patrolled the Western Pacific before re-home porting CG-62 to San Diego, CA
