While working as the Platoon Sergeant of Ordnance Platoon I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the platoon. As the Platoon Sergeant I conducted morning formation to establish accountability of all 53 enlisted Marines assigned to ordnance section. While I was Platoon Sergeant I tracked and ensured all medical and dental appointments were made and attended by all Marines in ordnance section. I also provided guidance, leadership, and general Marine knowledge to all junior Marines in the ordnance platoon. I conducted counseling on each Marine on his/her performance on the past month and ensured that each Marine had the understanding of what was required and expected of them to be successful.

As the Operations Chief I was responsible for coordinating the daily operations of The Basic School Armory. During this time I was responsible for coordinating the issue, recovery, and technical support of ordnance equipment and weapons systems in support of The Basic School Program of Instruction (POI) and all external units. I assisted the Ordnance Officer and Ordnance Chief in the coordination of all ordnance Training Support Requests (TSR's), and maintenance management functions. I analyzed support requirements, identified scheduling and equipment availability and conflicts, to provided recommendations for the correct courses of action. I helped plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily issue and recovery of safe and serviceable ordnance equipment in support of the POI.

Repaired weapons, ensured all weapons gauges were in tolerance

In charge of the Rifles section of the TBS Armory. Led 19 Jr Marines and ensured all weapons were inspected, maintained, repaired, and issued in a timely manner.
