Colonel Scott D. Stewart last assigned was the Commander of the 919th Special
Operations Mission Support Group Duke Field, Florida. He was responsible to
provide essential services to the 919th Special Operation Wing. The 550-plus
group provided; security forces, fire, civil engineers, communication and
service support personnel to ensure the Wing’s mission was accomplished.

- Direct hire to establish a new program called Air Force Criminal Justice Information Cell (AF-CJIC) up and running.

Headquarters Air Force Office of Special Investigation, (HQ AFOSI) leadership. Responsible for directing criminal
indexing center actions. Provide program leadership and management regarding planning, organizing, training, and
equipping the worldwide criminal indexing missions.
Notable Contributions
▪ Stabilized the AF-CJIC from a concept, into an operational cell, compliance of government policies.
▪ Established solid professional relationships within key Department of Defense organizations to cut
through standard government “red” tap delays.

Commander
Provided executive-level, Chief of Police, leadership for a 165-person squadron (department). One of the largest police departments in the North East Ohio made the squadron key for having assets in the area to help provide law
and order. We also provided protection to the civilian Airport at Vienna, Ohio as the local police department did not have the resources.
Notable Contributions
▪ Routinely I filled in as the Mission Support Group Commander (Mayor of a city type duties)
▪ As the wing’s Antiterrorism Officer (ATO), worked with civil engineering to ensure an $8-million small arms (pistols and rifles) range stayed on schedule and within budget.
▪ Working with civil engineering on the construction of the new $8.8-million Main Entry Control Point.

- Provided leadership and management of all departments under the Operations Directorate, including physical security, law enforcement, fire, EMS, safety, port operations, and armory/range for Naval support activity in Washington DC. Gathered and analyzed budget data to advise U.S. Navy leadership on resource allocation challenges and goals. Identified and communicated risks. Led installation workforce personnel by providing guidance on security services for active-duty personnel and their families, DoD civilians, contractors, retirees, and other personnel. Managed and supervised security administration, police, guard, and administrative office work through subordinate supervisors and leaders for the fence lines.
