Team Leader
Being all I can be while completing college and picking up and finishing a plumbing apprenticeship. I got twice as much jumps in this unit than I did in the 82nd being on a Neo Evac team.
Jun 1990 - Sep 1991
RTO
Went to infantry school and passed, went on 3 separate missions to track drug traffickers Miami everglades. Those were serious missions, sent with weapons, no ammo, except for personally carried weapons. Craziest theory ever, send national guard guys out on a LRSU type mission to track drug traffickers with M16's no ammo, traffickers sure to have real ordinance, thank God we never were discovered snooping them. Unit was made up mostly of two factions, Dade county cops (cities and sheriff), and young thugs with "gold grills" and showing up in their "fast and furious" street racing cars. I was in college and it was weekend entertainment just out of the 82nd. Those years were a blur for me but this unit was good to me. Good spot to transition learning how to be back on the outside
