UCMJ, CID, MP, Weapons, Interrogations. Volunteered after Basic for NADS ( Nat. Atomic Defense Service) was told if accepted I would not go to Vietnam. DAAAAA wrong. Had training in Chemical, Biological, Radioactive warfare. Required a FBI class 2 security clearance, (think that was the FBI class, don't recall). Training was for security at White Sands, NM missile facility, 6-8 months isolation underground. Never happened, said I could go guard missiles after VN.

Vietnam War
RSVN, 1st. Inf. Division assigned to 3rd. Brigade in operations primarily in III Corp, areas of Cambodia and bordering areas of SVN. Liaison to newly operational National Police Force training in U.S. counter insurgency operations, methods & equipment. Interrogation and identifying hostile detainees, NVA and VC deceptive tactics of explosives, etc.
