Drafted due to poor college grades, advised by father to join the AF. Tested and offered electronics. Amarillo for basic, Wheeler AFB was my assignment. Office work for several months, then joined 1891 comm. Mostly clerical work orders and a lot of surfing. Married a local girl in 1970, decided not to re-up. Her brother-in-law got me into elevators, and been in Hawaii ever since. 4 kids, 9 gkids.
