Honor Guard
Served as a non-commissioned officer for a funeral honors detachment. Specific duties included presenting the flag to bereaved family members and occasionally acting as the NCOIC for our detachment from Kansas City. In addition, I was active in collecting toys and overseeing events for Toys-for-Tots.

, I served as a team leader for the forward air control party while on a deployment to Fallujah, Iraq. I was responsible for millions of dollars’ worth of sensitive targeting equipment, as well as the safety of those under my leadership. I coordinated with different facets of the military in order to ensure quick and precise targeting of enemy combatants in support of troops on the ground.

Specific responsibilities in Fallujah included functioning as the Team Leader for the forward air controller attached to Alpha Company, 1/24. I coordinated communications and targeting for unit air support. Primary aircraft controlled were F/A-18F and AV-8b aircraft via the PRC-117 and LITENING pod.
