Bio
Raised on Maxwell AFB by a Full Bird, lived on Eglin and Tyndall AFBs as well. Visited multiple bases in the 1960s and 1970s with my grandfather after they forced him into retirement to visit former soldiers/airmen who had assumed command positions. Learned how to shoot a Mossberg LR22 on Maxwell AFB in the early 1970s. As i have grown older I realize how much respect Colonel Lyle had earned.
