Human Resources Technician
Served as the Brigade Human Resources (HR) Technician for the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, consisting of six Battalions and 4,500 Paratroopers in support of the 18-hour, no-notice, worldwide deployment mission of the 82nd Airborne Division. I was responsible for the proper execution of HR systems at the Brigade and below level. I served as the HR technical advisor to the Brigade S1, the Brigade Command Group, and six subordinate Battalion S1s on all HR operations programs involving Personnel Readiness Management, Personnel Information Management, Personnel Accounting and Strength Reporting and Essential Personnel Services.

Served as the Group S1 NCOIC for a Special Forces Group servicing over 2250 active component Soldiers, civilians and their families; directly responsible for training, welfare, morale and operational control of five NCOs and six soldiers; Manages the Groups Strength accountability, congressional inquiries, NCOERs, awards, EDAS, eMilpo, personnel actions, special duty pays, DMDC site security manager for the DEERS/Rapids system located in my office, retirement actions and deployability status; Tasked to serve as the J1 NCOIC for Combined Joint Task Force-Afghanistan servicing over 5100 military members, DoD civilians and Contractors from all branches of service spread out across the theater of operation.
