Recent Activity  -

Bio

I have spent 24 years as a medic with the Nebraska National Guard. 19 of which have been as an AGR. I also spent two years as a Supply NCO and 8 years as a Readiness NCO at two different units. My last deployment I was in charge of 3 clinics and 70 medics from the Army, Navy and Air Force. I am also qualified to teach 68W skills and NCOES. Currently, I am the Clinic NCOIC for the MEDDET.

Military Experiences

Jul 2006 - Present
NE MED
Clinic NCOIC
Clinic NCOIC responsible for the PHA/SRP process, on the full time side I am responsible for the MMPS in support of the medical readiness for the state. We have a great team and doing my job is made easier due to the professionals I am surrounded by. I also have the privilege to support the CLS and 68W sustainment program which are huge passions for me as a medic and a leader.
Oct 2010 - Jan 2012
Senior Medic
Senior Medic for the BN and eventually became the Senior Medic on the installation. Charged with one US clinic, 1 Afghan clinic and the pleasure of facilitating the Detention Facility in Parwan's medical clinic. Supported and mentored approximately 70 medics from the Army, Air Force and Navy. Tough mission for each medic on the inside and the challenges that were fought through built great character.
Jul 2004 - Feb 2006
Detachment Sergeant
Assigned as the Detachment NCO for the BN. Great job opportunity but the short stay left me with unfinished business. Command direct letters seem to do that.
Jul 1999 - Nov 2003
Supply Sergeant (S4)
First true AGR position to get my foot in the door. Loved this position early in my career because I was in a position to support the unit with introducing new and better equipment to accomplish the mission as a Cavalry Squadron. My heart is and will always be in the Cav!
