Bio
Born 1938 and raised in Syracuse, NY. Enlisted when 17 and was assigned to Infantry (to build me up). After three years attended Syracuse University. Majored in Physics, took ROTC, and graduated and commissioned in 1962. Served an additional two years, then went into Reserves, where I served until retiring in 1990. Married in 1966, two great kids, David and Karin and five grandkids.

New night vision scopes were being fielded before training or support was in place. My job with USARV (Long Binh) was to travel to various firebases to provide user instruction.
