Served 10 years of active service as enlisted, with ETS in Jan 1981 with rank of Staff Sergeant with a reserve rank of 2Lt. Went to school to get a BS in Nursing with intention of going back on active duty. Found out though that due to fact that I was in National Guard while going to college, had to many years of military service to go back active. Stayed in Missouri National Guard in Signal serving as Platoon Leader, Company Commander and Communication and Electronics Officer for the 128th FA Bn, Missouri National Guard. Transferred to Army Nursing towards the end of my career and served as ICU nurse for a Mash unit stationed in Kansas City.
