Transitioning
I have more than 17 years of supervisory public affairs experience with expertise in strategic communications and media relations. I have served as an Army Public Affairs Officer with the Department of Defense and have deployed in support of combat and operational deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Kosovo. I have developed, implemented and evaluated internal and external communication strategies for the Department of the Army and the Department of Defense; advised and counseled senior management on communication strategies; supervised teams of dedicated service members and governmental civilians; fostered teamwork; and provided leadership and guidance to dispersed offices.
