Pilot Trainee
Entered undergraduate pilot training but had to exit because of a medical issue. Flew the T-37 and briefly the T-38. Spent more time in the sim than in the aircraft! I got pretty good in the pin-ball machine.

Deployed with AWACS when the Iran-Iraq war began. Mission was to monitor activity and provide warning to Saudi defense units to prevent Iran from expanding the war by drawing in other nations.
ELF-1 was first foreign military presence there (publicly acknowledged) since WWII and lasted almost a decade.
