Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Raised by my maternal grandmother on the west side of Indy, in the neighborhood of Mars Hill. My elementary years were spent at Mars Hill elementary school. Then attended Ben Davis Jr High school from 1967-1969, then to Ben Davis High School, graduating in 1972, attended IUPUI IN INDY FOR APPRX 3-semesters, departed for Basic training in March 1974, graduated from AIT at Ft Gordon, Ga, August of 1974.
