MSG Alvin T. White enlisted in the United States Army in August of 1999 and has served in many leadership positions from Gunner to First Sergeant. His last assignment was as a Operation Sergeant in the HHC 12th CAB ANSBACH, GERMANY. MSG White’s positions and duty assignments include: Gunner, Driver, Team Leader at 21st MP CO (ABN) Fort Bragg, NC, Squad Leader at United States Army Security Force at Fort Detrick, MD, Squad Leader 173rd ABCT Bamberg, GE, Senior Drill Sergeant 3/13th IN REGT Fort Jackson, SC, Brigade Provost Sergeant 1ST BDE 3rd IN DIV, Platoon Sergeant 385th MP BN Fort Stewart, GA, 1SG HHC USAG Ansbach, and Operations Sergeant HHC 12th CAB ANSBACH, GERMANY. MSG White has attended numerous military schools and training programs to include: Basic Airborne School, Basic Leaders Course, Unit Prevention Leader, Crisis Negotiation, Advanced Leaders Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Combatives Level 1, Basic Instructor Course, Drill Sergeant School, Assist T4T Course, Anti- Terrorism Officer (Basic), Domestic Violence Intervention Course, Senior Leaders Course, The Master Fitness Course, and the First Sergent and Commander Course.
MSG White's military awards and decorations include: the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5), Army Achievement Medal (5),Good Conduct Medal (fifth Award), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Kosovo Campaign Medal w Bronze Star, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Third Numeral), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Third Numeral), NATO Medal, Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Drill Sergeant Badge. MSG White has been inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and SGT Morales Club. MSG White holds an Associates of Arts Degree in General Education and a Bachelors in Homeland Security through American Military University. MSG White’s hobbies include but are not limited to, taking care of Soldiers, running 10K, half marathons, Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, Power Lifting Competitions, Crossfit, The Murph, Swimming, Riding Motorcycles, and Football.
