Initially arrived on the USNS Pollux into Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. After a week or so we pushed out into the North Eastern desert and created a very large fire base we lovingly referred to as Fat City. Later, as the airwar kicked off, we pushed up North and East along tapline road as part of the Stormin Norman's hail mary play.
