Enlisted in the Navy June 1980 for 2 years as an E3 because I was an Other Service Veteran. Rating I selected, Aviation Storekeeper, was closed & promotion was only possible by attending A school, couldn't go to A school because of the 2 year enlistment so converted from an AN to SN.
