Bio
Born in Fabens Texas, raised in Eloy Arizona. Married young and joined U.S. Army at 17 in Jan. 1970. Boot camp in Ft. Lewis, MOS at Ft. Eustis Va., SDB at Ft Eustis Va. with OJT at Ft. Sill OK. Deployed to Vietnam in Jan. 1971. Stationed at Canton Air Base 147 Assualt Helicopter Co. Hillclimber 105 was my assigned ship.
Came home on my birth date 1/72 and got an early out the following month.

Maintain operational ready a CH-47 Super C Model Helicopter, Fly with oversee and supervise a crew chief and gunner while on recovery missions, gas drops, or personnel insertions or extractions. Supply ground troops with equipment and needs while on field operations.

Training in 67U20 MOS CH-47 and continied into advanced MOS training und a Student Development Base which is a shake and bake school for those who qualify for rank. Obtained E-5 promotion in 10 months of active duty,
