Started out as a deck ape on the USS Thomaston LSD-28. was a striker as an OS in CIC. reenlisted and transferred to the USS Samson DDG-10. My first shore duty was N & MC Reserve Center Amarillo, TX. Next NAF Detroit, MI as a PN. Next was USS Takelma ATF-113. Before all of that I joined the USAF and stationed at North Bend Radar Cite, OR. and then Takhli, Thailand. 1966-1969

Worked in CIC over seeing serface and air radar trafic. Everything from recomendation for helos landing to avoiding ships. Provide counceling and enlisted personnel jackets.
