Hello everyone, I served 20 years and I am a Desert Storm vetern. I served mostly over seas in Germany. The best unit I was with was the 249th Engineer Combat Battalion ( Heavy ).

The 249th was construction batallion doing projects around Germany to include the M1 ranges at Graf and Wildflicken. The also deployed to Desert Storm with the 7 Engineer Brigade.

Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Th Battalion opened blue road and followed 1 Armor in support. They eventually went to Kwati to assist in repairing the air field
