EM1/SS - Division Supervisor, Staff Instructor and Proficiency Phase Instructor
• Responsible for the operation and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) of all electrical generating and distribution systems
• Managed and coordinated the instruction and evaluation of naval officers and enlisted in the theory, operation and maintenance of nuclear powered propulsion plants for their initial qualification as nuclear power plant operators.
• Received the “Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal”
• Received Certification as a Journeyman Electrician and received Designation as a Master Training Specialist
• Directed technicians on 24/7 rotating shifts.
1991 - 1994
EM1/SS-Electrical Division Maintenance Coordinator and QA Inspector
• Planned, coordinated and supervised all electrical RCM - Reliability Centered Maintenance (preventive, predictive and corrective).
• Conducted commissioning on all industrial and reactor plant systems of a newly designed $2.2 billion trident class submarine.
• Assigned as “subject matter expert”, “pre-acceptance official” and “systems expert” to project manage contracted vendor and shipyard personnel during new construction component installations.
• Qualified through Engineering Watch Supervisor.
• Qualified and received Certification as Submarine Force Quality Assurance Inspector.

EM2-Maintenance Electrician and Staff Instructor
• Operated and maintained all electrical systems (AC/DC motors & generators, single & three phase distribution systems, magnetic/static motor controllers, circuit breakers, disconnects, panel boards, switchboards, related utility power and battery systems).
• Instructed and evaluated naval officers and enlisted in the theory, operation and maintenance of nuclear powered propulsion plants for their initial qualification as nuclear power plant operators.
