I served 20 years with the United States Marine Corps. At my last duty station, I certified as a Small Arms Weapons Instructor (SAWIC). This allowed me to be in charge and operate firing ranges for Marines and Marine Recruits. I have designed and built many live firing ranges from Quantico, VA to Somalia. These firing ranges were from a single and multi point, MOUT and movement ranges. I have a clear understanding of surface danger zones and ricochet areas. I have personally instructed over 3000 Marines in successfully qualifying with their service pistol & rifle and over 5500 Marine recruits qualifying with their service rifle. While stationed at MCRD San Diego I was also on the MCRD shooting team for 2 years. The first year on the team I won a shooting award for the highest score for a Tyro shooter. I was the Chief Operator/Instructor for eleven (ISMT) Infantry Squad Marksmanship Trainer computer simulation systems while serving as a Small Arms Weapons Instructor at MCRD San Diego. I had a successful tour as a Marine Recruiter and was a Weapons Platoon Sergeant in the infantry in several units. I also was granted a secret security clearance while I served. I am a current member of the Lisbon Fish & Game Association. I also have a certificate as a Range Safety Officer from the NRA. I currently work for Nationwide Payment Solutions which is a Merchant Service Provider. I am responsible for developing & managing a relationship with software or gateway vendors through our Strategic Partner & Affiliate Program by integration of their product to the NPS network using our API with their Payment Application. I was the Technical Service Manager for 7 ½ years providing valuable technical support in electronic processing for our merchants and sales professionals. Customer Service is a must in this industry to maintain and grow our merchant base. My department was awarded in 2008 & 2009 our company Service Department Award for outstanding customer service. The Technical Service Department consisted of 3 sub departments. I managed a great staff of technicians working in our Help Desk, Deployment and MuniciPAY Dept. I also was responsible for our Gift card, Electronic Check and Installation Section.
