Private First Class
MOS 6064 ( MOS # Has Changed) Aircrew Survival Equipmentman School. We were in charge of packing personnel parachutes, ejection seat parachute, life vest, life rafts, LOX systems, and CO2 systems. We also took care of and maintained all aircrew equipment, flight helmets, flight suits, G - suits, and flight jackets, and repair of just about anything that could be sewn up. We made helmet bags, clothing bags, utility bags, and I personally made curtains for the officers rooms at MCAS Iwakuni, made spare tire covers, upholstered the C.O. couch, you name it, we did it.
