Fire Protection Specialist
Forced retirement in June 1996 due to my squadrons deactivation the 135th CES Fire Dept. As all the higher levels of leadership were filled by state fire fighters who at this time also had to be members of the MDANG in order to be full time employees. As such I did not see any way to get at least E-6 back as I was back filling a E-4 slot in the unit.
