"What does the band do?" Army Bands provide musical support/morale for deployed troops, perform for the general public & foreign dignitaries, assist recruiters and support military ceremonies; all while serving as musical ambassadors of the Army. However, we are Soldiers first. We train just like everyone else. When deployed we try to play as often as possible but do whatever is needed.
