Joined the Navy in June 1973. Boot camp in San Diego then on to Great Lakes for A school. Back to San Diego on the USS Monticello LSD35. Served on her for 5 years. Back to Great Lakes as a E5 go Instructor duty. Made E6 then on to USS Morton DD948 out of Pearl Harbor followed by the USS Joseph Strauss DDG 16. Made Chief then went back to Great Lakes for another tour. Made Senior Chief
