I attribute my career success thus far to several key factors: (1) a capacity for continued personal and professional growth, ability to find structural solutions to organizational challenges, command of presentation and communication skills and ability to analyze roadblocks and apply creative problem-solving to reach objectives in performance-critical environments.
Bill Baker joined Navigator Development Group, Inc in 2002 after 24 years of service in the US Army. Since joining Navigator he has served as a Senior Analyst, Program Lead, Program Manager and Vice President of two separate corporate business units. Bill grew up and graduated High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. While on active duty in the Army, Bill attended Troy University, studying business management and human resource management.
Military Experiences
Aug 1997 - May 1998
First Sergeant
First Sergeant in an Attack Helicopter Regiment deployed to Bosnia - Herzegovina and was responsible for daily training, work schedule, and welfare of more than 200 soldiers. Provided advice to senior officers on personnel management, military law, discipline, promotion and honors. Daily responsibilities included:
• Coordinated all aspects of operational support and mission requirements for numerous military activities including a wartime deployment overseas
• Required to draft documents, make recommendations and assessments for procurement and budgeting
• Supported the Forces Command (FORSCOM) standards by conducting physical fitness training, quality assurance inspections and counseling

Deployed with the 29th Air Traffic Control Group, Maryland National Guard and served as airspace manager for the Army Central Command during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm
