I have been working in the Gas industry for the last 12 years with the United States Navy. In 2012 I was looking for a new challenge and found my path leading me to Pacific Gas and Electric,I was first of few external company hires to embark in this new role of Gas Distribution System Coordinator where I would be monitoring the daily operations of Pacific Gas and Electric's 42,000+ miles of gas distribution pipelines. Within 3 months of being hired by the company, I was upgraded to a Senior Distributing Coordinator to actually run the Gas Distribution Control Room and be the final call on what we tell the field to do or not to do.
