Bio
I worked in the Electronic Security industry for 20+ years. I now work at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN as the Facilities Coordinator. I enjoy my job taking care of a world class educational and museum like facility. I maintain HVAC, lighting, plumbing, exhibits and all of interior and exterior of the building. It definitely keeps me busy.
I started in the electronic security industry in 1988, and worked my way up from entry level as an installer of burglar alarms. I branched out from installation. I was an installation manager, safety director and qualified individual for seven years for a multimillion dollar security company in Las Vegas called Eagle Sentry. From there I went on to hold a contractors license of my own in Nevada. All this took place over twenty years.

Military Experiences
Apr 1982 - Apr 1986
Combat Engineer
Basic and AIT at Ft Leonard was tough for this skinny and out of shape California boy. But I made it through just fine.
My first duty station was Ft Sill, OK with Bravo Company 299th Engineer Battalion Combat (Wheeled). I was the M817 (Korean war vintage 5 ton 6x6 dump truck) operator for 1st squad 3rd platoon.
Then off to West Germany and Alpha Company 12th Engineer Battalion Combat (Mechanized). I was the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier operator for 3rd squad, 3rd platoon After making Spc-4 I passed the E-5 board and went through NCOA at Bad Tolz. Not long after that I was awarded the GCM. I finished my 4 year hitch with an honorable discharge.
I found my way into trouble on a couple of occasions. I was young and there were wild oats to be sewn. And boy did I. No excuses here.
