My focus is to provide leadership, growth, direction and mentorship to those I work with and to provide influence within the organization. While my current professional focus is in the safety field, I also assist with recruiting, interviewing, goal setting, employee evaluations and leadership development. Additionally I am a mentor inside and outside of the organization. Michael R. King was born May 14, 1970, in Saigon, Vietnam, to an American father and a Vietnamese mother. He affectionately refers to himself as a war baby. As a Navy brat, he moved often during his childhood, though he considers Long Beach, MS, and Woodinville, WA, his homes. After a tumultuous adolescence, he enlisted in the Army and became an Airborne infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division (HUA!). He also served in the US Navy.
