Battalion Commander
Warrior Transition Battalion Commander responsible for care and leadership of up to 950 US Army Soldiers located across a six state region; wounded, injured, or who have become ill while in service to the Nation. Leads a diverse multicomponent team of 180 civilian staff and Soldiers, both medical and non-medical in the support of the recovery of Soldiers assigned to the battalion.

Brigade Operations (S3)
Responsible for the planning of training and operations for a US Army Training Brigade consisting of seven battalions and training of 17,000 Initial Entry Soldiers. Oversees accomplishment of training to standard. Establishes priorities for training, leadership development with limited resources. Advises brigade commander on all aspects of brigade operations.

Responsible for the oversight and synchronization of staff operations in a one station unit training armor battalion that trains armor crewman for the US Army.

Recovering and rehabilitating from wounds received from an explosively formed projectile roadside bomb while on mounted patrol in Baghdad, Iraq in October 2006.
o Returned to active duty after over 25 surgeries to his hands, left arm, and right leg.
