Operations Officer (S3)
Led 25-person training support battalion in charge of training multiple National Guard and Reserve units deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. Responsible for all aspects of pre-deployment training for supported deploying units.
• Led the training of a 400 person air assault battalion within 1 month of arriving at the battalion with 100% turnover of the battalion’s captains and a unit relocation.
• Coordinated and executed a 7 day multi-national training mission with the Dutch army, culminating in a 10-ship air assault with four Apaches and four Blackhawk aircrafts.
• Completed twice the normal mobilization load while being manned at 35% strength over a year period resulting in being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

Observer Coach Trainer
Led training support battalion tactical operations center during both day and night operations as a Battle Captain. Responsible for all tracking and resourcing all operations that occur during supported unit training.
• Recognized by the division commander for outstanding leadership during convoy-live fire exercise and promoted to battalion operations officer of a sister aviation battalion.
• As the battalion safety officer conducted 2 army abbreviated ground accident reports for traffic accidents, and conducted quarterly safety classes to prevent future accidents.

Company Commander
Led 90-person headquarters company during Operation Iraqi Freedom, providing logistics and administrative support for 400-person air assault battalion. Responsible for $6 million of equipment and vehicles.
• Planned and created a battalion contingent tactical operations center, comprised of 25 personnel, all operational and life support equipment, for emergency situations resulting in no degradation to mission, communication of the operational picture in any situation.
• Directed logistics to redeploy soldiers, vehicles, and equipment from Iraq to US while providing continuous administrative and operational support; awarded Bronze Star.
• Rated the top 10% of company commanders out of 36 by the brigade commander and awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

Battalion Adjutant
Led 6-person administrative actions section during Operation Iraqi Freedom supporting all personnel matters in a 393-person air assault battalion. Responsible for processing all evaluations, awards, environmental moral leave, strength reporting, manning rosters, military pay and postal operations.
• Fielded four companies of personnel and transitioned over 550 soldiers, standing up the air assault battalion in just 10 months, and awarded the Army Commendation Medal.
• Planned the manifesting of 407 personnel, layering leadership leaving Iraq allowing for fluid transition from a combat zone maintaining 100% accountability.
