Instructor/Writer
Served as a technical advisor/instructor applying intensive practical knowledge of the Parachute Rigger Military Occupational Specialty (92R). Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and conducting instruction activities for all ranks of active duty, reserve and National Guard soldiers across DOD as well as foreign soldiers. Special emphasis applied to the instruction of Parachute Maintenance. Responsible for training over 1000 soldiers for Department of Defense and Allied Forces, successfully imparting skills to new soldiers resulting in a 98% graduation rate. Personal excellence in training students resulted in recognition as a “Distinguished Instructor” in 2007 by the Quartermaster Center and School, Fort Lee, VA.

Successfully and comprehensively accounted for and maintained personnel service and training records for over 300 personnel in the only Airborne Advanced Individual Training Company in TRADOC. Processes various personnel actions using DA Forms, applies task management skills to ensure no task is left undone and maintains Company calendar of events and suspense files. Carries out and coordinates administrative matters and activities within and with outside organizations as the company designated representative. Responsible for processing all administrative documentation for every member of the organization.

Managed 10 military personnel in performing Direct Service/General Service inspections, inventory and maintenance of over $4M of equipment, primarily G-11 and G-12 Parachute systems in the only such facility servicing all units assigned to Fort Bragg. Forecasted and assigned work and inspected completed projects for technical accuracy of established maintenance procedures. Established training program within the team to increase proficiency of maintenance skills, resulting in an increase of work maintenance hours completed weekly from 50 hours to 65 hours.
Led team to finish annual inventory and maintenance of equipment 7 days ahead of assigned timeline.
