First Sergeant - 1st (WMD) CST - (2022) Senior Logistic Operations – MAARNG (2019-2022). S4 Section NCOIC responsible for the accountability and well-being of nineteen soldiers. Logistic planning, tracking, oversight, and recommendations supporting the commander’s objectives and operational plans within the brigade. Plans and implements the inspections programs and conducts assistance visits to ensure the success of the brigade's twenty units and three battalions. Lead, train, and mentor eighteen supply SGTs and two battalion supply SGTs. Senior Supply NCO – MAARNG (2017-2019). Duties include procurement, accountability, and storage of all CST (WMD) equipment needed for incident response. Work directly with the Defense COMSUPCEN for forward-area support, resupply, and reconstitution after deployment. Train and lead the DECON section as the NCOIC, as well as conduct familiarization training with the entire CST unit. Serve as the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) monitor and manage the property book, sub-hand receipts, and inventories, in addition to ordering and coordinating delivery and storage of ammunition as needed. Battalion S4 Section NCO – MAARNG (2015-2017). Responsible for the morale, health, and training of eight soldiers in the S-4 section; counsels, disciplines, and develops soldiers and NCOs into competent and effective leaders. Responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and effective utilization of all section equipment, individual equipment, and subordinate companies in excess of $74 million. Coordinates logistic activities with other staff elements in order to support subordinate units. Conduct assistance visits to subordinate elements in order to ensure effective record keeping and organization. Develops and executes training programs to further develop the section. Senior Supply NCO – MAARNG (2014-2015). Responsible for functional expertise in the areas of logistics, supply management, and property book management; plans, coordinates, monitors, and executes logistics preparation and sustainment for all operations; supervises, mentor,s and develops three M-Day and one ADOS soldiers; maintains 142 bunk dormitory as well as advises, mentors supply personnel; develops and implements the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP). Supply SGT – MAARNG (2009-2014). Responsible for the morale, health, and training of four soldiers in the supply section; counsels, disciplines, and develops soldiers into competent and effective NCOs. Responsible for the maintenance, accountability, and effective utilization of all unit equipment, advising and assisting the supply officer and commander, as well as developing and implementing the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP). Platoon SGT – MAARNG (2006-2009). Supervises a chemical platoon and control company smoke operations, supervises NBC decontamination platoon or comparable unit, monitors technical operations of an NBC company, and serves as the brigade (except for separate brigades), battalion, or squadron NBC advisor in headquarters-not authorized as a chemical branch officer. Served as the senior trainer for the CERF-P decon operations. Training, mentoring, and developing junior enlisted and NCOs to become better soldiers and leaders. Chemical Operations NCO – MAARNG (2005-2006). Responsible for the morale, health, and training of a decon squad, taught and oversee CERF-P tactics. Served as the NBC NCO in a battalion or squadron headquarters during overseas deployment, supervising smoke generator and fuel supply squads computes and plots NBC data, supervising reconnaissance and decontamination squads, and also the use of NBC detection and decontamination equipment. Team Leader – MAARNG (2004-2005). responsible for the accountability, management, and training of the Soldiers assigned to the smoke generating and fuel supply squads. Managed soldiers' mobilization training and well-being for deployment. My leadership experiences within the MAARNG have been both traditional and non-traditional, having served as the senior logistics NCO at the Brigade and Battalion levels.
