• Served with 2nd Reconnaissance Bravo Company and oversaw installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of this equipment and computer networks to provide line-of-site, air-to-ground, and satellite communications for up to 200 personnel.
• Prepared and operated radio transmitters, receivers, and auxiliary equipment, including multiband multimission radios; VHF, UHF, HF, and SATCOM systems with Automatic Link Establishment, ViaSat, secure terminal equipment, and cryptographic equipment.
• Directed communications traffic by receiving, processing, relaying, logging, and filing messages and ensuring strict compliance with policies and standard operating procedures.
• Served as a Unit Operations Specialist and maintained a comprehensive company database for company personnel.
• Expertly used controllers and other equipment to access and tune satellite transponders, maximize signal strength, and obtain best transmission and receiving signal, as well as wide variety of computers and test equipment to troubleshoot and maintain sophisticated equipment.
