Air Operations and Training (S3-AIR)
The Battalion Commander was Mike Oates (later the 10th MTN DIV CDR & Retired a 3-Star). CSM was CSM Giles, a Vietnam veteran. I worked for Billy Buckner. The battalion reflagged during this time. I learned to draw Surface Danger Zones for a great guy at range control, Joe Donnelly.

Company Commander CPT Daniel DeLeon and First Sergeant Tommy Kramer and First Sergeant Ziegler for a short time. My best memory was leading the company through a swamp in an battalion attack at JRTC. We actually beat the OPFOR!

Deployed to Haiti from September 1994 to January 1995. My Platoon Seargeants were Mike. Chambers and Art McCabe.
