Does Green to Gold ADO supersede Drill Sergeant time obligation?

Good afternoon,
I was accepted into the Army's G2G program this year. Before beginning my packet, the ROTC recruiter of the school I plan on attending told me that Green to Gold superseded any time obligation for Drill Sergeant, Recruiter, etc. As of now, I've been on the trail for around 5 months and would be just over a year by the time I left for college making me shy of the 18-month minimum requirement for drill time. I wasn't worried about this, but now CoC is asking questions and questioning whether I'll be able to be released from the trail.
I've been searching through regulations for the last couple of days and I have found nothing pertaining to this. To my knowledge, there's nothing that says I can and nothing that says I can't, so it's a gray area. Has anyone had any experience with this?
11B SSG with right at 5-years TIS if it matters.

I would be skeptical of that claim and ask for the regulatory or policy guidance saying such.
For example, according to the Cadet Command's G2G regulation (USACC Reg 145-6*), if you had a Training Service Obligation from changing your MOS, gaining an ASI, language training, etc. then you will require a waiver approved by HRC.
Another example this isn't true is the Army Recruiter program. Because of the importance that Army leadership places on recruiting duty, once you have been accepted into the program (either because you volunteered or were voluntold), you are managed by USAREC on behalf of the CG, HRC. In order to be transferred out of the program prior to the initial 3-year commitment, you must apply to the CG, HRC for their approval to be removed (AR 601-1*).
It's possible that specific to any DI commitment, that G2G would take priority, but I've given two instances where the claim that "G2G will supercede any time obligation..." isn't valid (you have to request a waiver if you have a TSO and if you're in your 3-year initial commitment as a recruiter, then you must be released by the CG, HRC).
Again, see it in writing before you base a decision on it.

I would say that a Green to Gold scholarship includes one characteristic which should trump time-on-station requirements: you will be discharged from active duty to attend college.
As an ironic "bonus", you may still be qualified to wear a "This We'll Defend" badge as a cadet, which should be good for a double-take or few when you get to summer camp.
