Is it normal for MEPS to keep kicking back medical waiver?

I am prior service and have decided i want to go back in. I got a DUI in 2013, so my recruiter said i needed a waiver. Ok cool. So we sent everything up in Aug 2018. It is now July 2019. They have kicked my packet back about 6 times and everytime ask for some new random stuff. When i was stationed in Germany i had a molar pregnancy. IN THE ARMY. They wanted all the medical records for that. They wanted follow up HCGs once and stuff about a lump in my breast when i was stationed in Korea. Every time it is something totally different than before and has nothing to do with a DUI. IS this normal? Is there anything i can do? My recruiter was able to switch everything from the Baltimore MEPS to the Harrisburg MEPS but im sure that will take a while as well.

It will not matter the MEPS. The process is the process. There is more to it now that you have been in, gotten out and lived a bit and now want to go back in. They need to cross the T's and dot the I's so to speak. Yes it takes a while, but it will get done.

SPC Brittany Lopez Did you disclose all this information when you talked to your recruiter? If you have a break in service, the service will send your file, personnel & medical, to an archive location, so MEPS may not have access to a previous file. As they find out information, they can, and, in your case, will kick back your waiver.

I answered everything on the initial forms honestly, yes. My frustration isn't them wanting to see everything, my frustration is why not ask for all of this at once. Why keep kicking it back? 6 times is a little excessive. A molar pregnancy 10 years ago means what? I have had to kids since than. Obviously im good.

SPC Brittany Lopez - Because it is the military. You should know everything about hurry up and wait, or ask questions but not ask questions.
