Waiting for results of MEPS consult. How long does it take?

I've been trying to go back on active duty for about 3 months now. I took the ASVAB again, went to MEPS, and had to do a consult this time for PRK that I had before I joined the Navy the first time. I completed the consult a little over a month ago, and I have no updates. My recruiter says it can take 3-6 months for them to review that consult. That doesn't seem right. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to talk to at MEPS?
