Will having a Temp 3 profile after surgery keep you from PCSing OCONUS?

With a P3 profile, I don’t think you’ll be alone to go any where. On a note, be aware of the new policy regarding service members with prolonged profiles.

You won’t be able to PCS on a P3 profile or a temporary profile. When you PCS you have to be deployable ready when you arrive to your new duty station. You can request a deferment of your assignment which can allow you to heal properly. I hope this helps, good luck to you....

Your orders will be deleted until you no longer have an MRC3. You're required to show up to any MTOE unit fully deployable. You'll see that written in your special instructions as well. HRC will place you back on your assignment once your MRC3 code is lifted.
